The Ticonderoga Best 4^thIn The North Committee, a sub-committee of the Ticonderoga Montcalm Street Partnership (TMSP) is now accepting nominations for Grand Marshal for the 2023 Best 4^th In The North parade in Ticonderoga. Grand Marshal nominations can be submitted on the Best 4^th In The North facebook page via messenger or by emailing tmsp@timainstreet.org.  The deadline to submit nominations is April 26^th, 2022 at 4:00 PM.

The Best 4^th In the North Celebration attracts many visitors to the Ticonderoga area every year which supports local businesses and the local economy. A schedule for the 2023 celebration is currently being finalized by the committee. The Best 4^th In The North Celebration will take place July 1-4, 2023 with a grand fireworks display, live music, food, parade, Montcalm Mile, and more.

“We encourage community members, organizations, and businesses to submit nominations for the 2023 Grand Marshal.  For a Grand Marshal, think of people who are truly dedicated to the community, serve the Ticonderoga Area throughout the year, and people who have been an inspiration to the community. We are looking forward to reviewing and discussing the nominations at the Best 4^th In The North committee meeting following the nomination deadline. We have kept an ongoing list of past nominations to use as well,” stated Debbie Barber – Best 4^th In The North Committee Chairperson.

2023 Parade Applications along with the rules and regulations will be available in April. Stay tuned for more information.

The Best 4^th in The North committee needs more volunteers to help with the planning, fundraising and during the celebration. The committee typically meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 4:00 PM at the Chamber Office in Downtown Ticonderoga.
