The Ticonderoga Montcalm Street Partnership, StreetFest committee is already planning for the 15th Annual StreetFest which will be held on Saturday, July 27th, 2024 in Downtown Ticonderoga from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The event is held on Montcalm Street in the heart of historic Ticonderoga, NY. StreetFest is a day-long celebration that is a must-do event each year in the Ticonderoga Area with sidewalk sales, shopping, variety of food, live entertainment all day, arts & crafts, kid’s activities, and much more. Details are being finalized for this event and the music and entertainment schedule will be available as the event gets closer. Admission to the event is free and open to the public.
“Mark your calendars for StreetFest 2024. This is a highlight of the summer for community members and visitors each year. In 2023, even with the late afternoon rain, was wonderful and we are planning to expand the event again this year. The committee continues to work hard to not only coordinate the event but add new activities, music, and entertainment each year. This Ticonderoga tradition continues to grow, attracting many members of the community and visitors to Downtown Ticonderoga. I am so thankful for an amazing committee and the support of the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce. This event would not be possible without you,” shared Megan Bambara – StreetFest Committee Chairperson.
The StreetFest committee is in the process of registering merchants and vendors for the 2024 event. If you are interested in participating in StreetFest you must fill out a Merchant/Vendor Form and be approved. All applications must follow all StreetFest guidelines. Merchant & Vendor applications are available at www.timainstreet.org, www.ticonderogany.com, or from the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) office. Completed applications can be mailed to TMSP, PO Box 379, Ticonderoga, NY 12883 or to the TACC Office (TMSP Coordinator) at 94 Montcalm Street, Suite 1, Ticonderoga, NY. Reminder, the vendor fee checks must be made payable to the Ticonderoga Montcalm Street Partnership.
Applications have been mailed or emailed to all 2023 participants. Downtown merchants, area businesses, retail stores, restaurants, retail vendors, food vendors, non-profits, artisans, farmers, arts and craft vendors, and vendors with local hand-crafted products are encouraged to participate. All applications must be approved by the committee. Non-profits and organizations looking to participate must offer a kids’ activity that will enhance the event. Please note that the activity must be coordinated and approved by the StreetFest Committee. Information only, raffles, and political vendors are not allowed. Downtown Ticonderoga and other Merchants are asked to have products for sale and create exciting displays in front of their business (on the street) that will attract customers.
The 2024 Vendor Fee is $40.00 before June 7th, 2024 and $50.00 after that date. There is no fee for Montcalm Street merchants/businesses, TACC and event partners, as well as StreetFest sponsors, but you still must fill out a registration form to participate and be included on StreetFest materials. The deadline to register is July 15th, 2024. Space is limited and is on a first come first serve basis. No refunds.
The StreetFest committee is made up of a number of TMSP Board Members (volunteers), Community Volunteers and Downtown Business Owners. In addition to the committee the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce assists with the coordination and promotion of the event.
