01 Jun TMSP Receives Grant Awarded by Stewart’s Holiday Match
The Ticonderoga Montcalm Street Partnership (TMSP) recently received a grant for $1,200 from the Stewart’s Holiday Match Program. The Holiday Match is the program wherein Stewarts matches customer donations made in all of their shops from Thanksgiving through Christmas. The 2025-26 program raised over $1.8 million for local children’s organizations.
Stewart’s Holiday Match has donated over $40 million to local area nonprofits since the program began in 1986, all for the benefit of local area children.
The funds will be used by TMSP to help make the playground in Bicentennial Park more inclusive and accessible for handicapped children and children with special needs.
TMSP also puts on the annual End of Winter Carnival in March, Streetfest in July, FallFest in September and Halloween Fest in October. Streetfest includes a full face painter and a caricature artist which the kids and their families really enjoy. In addition to downtown trick-or-treating in costume, Halloween Fest also includes a Pumpkin Walk along LaChute Trail, horse drawn wagon rides, and a haunted hallway at the Community College. We very much appreciate Stewart’s support for all of these kid-friendly events.
TMSP is an all-volunteer organization that works to improve our community and to revitalize downtown Ticonderoga. TMSP seeks to create meaningful, long-term change in Ticonderoga’s traditional business district and to promote economic revitalization.
